Elizabeth E. Schaefer

Elizabeth E. Schaefer is an Advisor and Member of Hillview's Investment Committee. Beth has significant experience identifying and evaluating attractive, value adding investment strategies and managers through over 26 years in the investment and consulting business. Prior to joining Hillview, Ms. Schaefer was Senior Vice President of Trust Company of the West (TCW). At TCW she was responsible for researching and developing new products for individual and institutional investors. Prior to joining TCW, Ms. Schaefer spent seven years as Managing Director/Head of Equities at Commonfund, a highly regarded investment firm to endowments & foundations with over $30 billion under management. At Commonfund, Beth was responsible for asset allocation, portfolio construction and manager selection for assets totaling $5 billion. Previously she was a Vice President and Head of Equity Research at Evaluation Associates, a leading investment consulting firm. Ms. Schaefer holds an M.B.A. from Iona College and B.A. from College of New Rochelle.
